Governor Announces reopening dates for salons, barbershops, gyms
Gov. Greg Abbott announced that barbershops and salons can reopen Friday, May 8 with social distancing restrictions. Restrictions include one customer per stylist and a recommended appointment-only system. Gyms can reopen on May 18 at 25% capacity, but showers and locker rooms are to remain closed. At the time of this email, no press release or guidance was posted on the governor’s website but is expected by end of day. Check https://gov.texas.gov/ for official guidance and updates regarding today’s announcement.
