As community members, we understand the importance of providing information to the community in times of need. We have long thought about how to best communicate available resources to our neighbors when disaster strikes.
Today we are pleased to introduce the CRTF app.
Scan the QR code or visit crtf.org/app. Follow the instructions provided. Choose between installing on iOS or on Android.
As a note on privacy, CRTF may collect emails to occasionally email you with disaster and relife related information, but will not sell or share this list for profit.
Because our app is a progressive web application (PWA), you will be able to visit it from the web, but also add it to your phone home screen. We highly encourage you to do this.
There are three main benefits to using the CRTF app:
Access useful phone numbers for our area
You will have access to a regularly updated and expanded database of local phone numbers from local fire departments to internet providers. This is useful throughout the year, but especially during a disaster.
Explore a database of good Samaritans
You will be able to explore our database of good Samaritans, who have services or products to offer our community when disaster strikes. For example, you will be able to find housing, food, and other resources. During past disasters, this has been a life-saving service, and with this app we hope to make information available to a greater number of our community members.
If your organization would like to be included, please email send us a message, and our team will gladly assist.
Real-time updates in times of disaster
We have the ability to update the app in real-time. This means that during a flood or other disaster, we can use the app to deliver critical, life-saving information to our neighbors.
You can search and filter phone numbers, and to call, just click on the phone number. Think of this like an emergency phone list curated by CRTF.
Install the Phone App
If you are on your phone, choose your operating system.
If you are on your computer, scan the QR code with your phone.
